Geologists Regulation Act

On April 1, 1998, the Nebraska Unicameral passed LB1161 establishing the Geologists Regulation Act, Neb. Rev Statute §§ 81-3501 through 81-3541. The act provides for the licensure of professional geologists in Nebraska whose activities may affect public health, safety, and welfare. The most recent changes to the Act were enacted through Legislative Bill 91 of the One Hundred Third Legislature, First Session, and became effective September 6, 2013.
